Description

When a homeless person arrives at the Mission, they're hungry. The first thing they need is a good hearty meal. They get a meal in the Mission's dining hall, which is open 7 days per week, 365 days per year. About 600 meals are served in the dining hall every day. Breakfast and dinner are open to the public, and lunch is served to those enrolled in one of the Mission's programs. It takes a lot of food to serve so many meals - please consider donating food items. The Mission gives out emergency food baskets on weekdays to people living in the community who are facing financial difficulty. Our hope is that the money they save from not buying groceries can be used toward their rent, mortgage, or utility bills and keep them in their own housing.
