CCSTB - Food Pantry

The Mustard Seed Food Distribution Program runs a Food Pantry and a Clothing Bank that distribute donated household goods, non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and clothes to the community. It also provides advocacy and referrals, and links residents (including those with special needs) to area resources so that their needs can be met. The Mustard Seed Food Distribution Program is an income-based program that currently operates Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 AM - 3 PM BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. At this time the Food Pantry is only accepting new enrollments from the St Bernard Parish zip codes of 70032, 70043, 70085, 70092 and 70075. The first step in receiving food is to set up an Intake Interview by coming to the Community Center office between 10 AM and 5 PM Monday-Friday to schedule a date and time and receive a list of all documents that must be brought to the interview. If the interview is successful and all required documents are provided, then an appointment time will be assigned to receive food from the food pantry. No one will receive a food pantry appointment until all of their documents have been provided to the interviewer.
