Description

Community Assistance Network (CAN), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit, that provides food and family services to Del Norte County and Adjacent Tribal Lands. CAN started as a small food bank in 1995, in response to the diminishing fishing and logging industries. It has grown from serving 165 households that first month, to 1,700 households annually. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of many individuals and agencies in the community, CAN now offers a variety of other food, garden, family services.
