Our Mission: We are dedicated to feeding the hungry through our network of partner agencies, educating the community about hunger and advocating for hunger relief. Our Vision: To eliminate hunger. Placer Food Bank is the leading hunger-relief charity in Placer, El Dorado and Nevada counties. We serve as the primary food collection and distribution center for hunger-relief efforts in our area, distributing fresh and non-perishable food to the hungry through our network of more than 60 local hunger-relief and charitable organizations. Placer Food Bank is the only local hunger-relief organization, and one of only 210 food banks nationwide, to be a certified member of Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity. We're also a proud member of the California Association of Food Banks.
