Description

We are residents of Dayton and the surrounding area who are partnering with Healthy Communities Coalition in volunteer service to provide food to those in need in our community. We distribute food through our monthly distribution day, emergency food boxes through our pantry, monthly food boxes for the Dayton Senior Center Homebound List and to our children through the local school "Backpack Program". We receive funding through grants, USDA, and the generous donations of businesses and private citizens in our community. We purchase food from Food Bank of Northern Nevada at a reduced rate as well as using local businesses. Food Distribution Locations Monday - Thursday, 10 am - 4 pm - Dayton Food Pantry located on Enterprise Way 3rd Saturday of every month - Sutro Elementary School - 12 pm - 3 pm
