In 2009, we entered a partnership with Holy Cross Church to provide an additional site where people can access food! This supplemental food pantry site distributes Daily Bread items received through Great Plains Food Bank. It is open Monday AND Wednesday from 3pm - 4:30pm. Clients can come once a week to receive services and must show an ID. With the state of our economy and the dramatic increase in need, this is a critical time for organizations to form collaborations in order to provide services to as many people as possible with the resources we have. Having two food distribution sites, our current one in Moorhead and this new one in West Fargo, will allow folks to access additional food resources throughout the month. Food, clothing, and shelter are basic human rights that are essential in order to maintain and promote a healthy, prosperous, and productive community!
