The Ecumenical Community Food Pantry of Norwood opened its doors at Grace Episcopal Church on May 6, 1989 serving six clients. Since that time, the pantry has served over 2,500 families. Read more about the history of the pantry here. The mission of the Ecumenical Community Food Pantry of Norwood, Inc. is to provide emergency food to people in need. The clients will be encouraged to use the pantry only as a stepping stone toward their independence. They will be treated with respect and dignity. Confidentiality will be maintained.
