Ecumenical Ministries, Inc. has served Baldwin County for more than 40 years. The agency started in 1969 with one program and has expanded its services over the years to include ten different offerings. Our staff makes every effort to provide emergency and crisis aid to neighbors in need, low income families, the disabled and the elderly. The urgent needs of individuals requiring assistance for food, utilities, rent, medical, transportation and other services are fully reviewed and met by EMI staff and trained volunteers. Our food pantries are primarily stocked by local churches, schools, and individuals. When available, EMI's Gleaning program adds fresh baked items, fruits and produce give by local farmers, grocers and restaurants.
