Emmaus Mission Center - Benevolence Center

The Benevolence Center serves as a thrift store and food pantry. Our food pantry supplies food for approximately one thousand families per month. Generally clients may receive food from the pantry once per month. We purchase much of our food at minimal cost from Food Finders in Lafayette and local food drives and personal donations bless us greatly, allowing us to fill our shelves and provide for the hungry in our local area. The food pantry is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to noon. Our thrift store contains clothing, bedding, furniture and household items which are sold at very low cost to the unemployed or underemployed. If unable to pay we will gladly help those in need. We rely heavily on generous donations from the local community to keep good quality items available for our clients to select from. The thrift store is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
