Faith in Serving Humanity (F.I.S.H.)

Faith in Serving Humanity (F.I.S.H.) is a Christian outreach ministry sponsored by various churches in Walton County. Conceived by the local ministerial association as a way to respond to the truly needy in the community, F.I.S.H. operates as a nonprofit charity with 501 (c) (3) status, making all donations tax-deductible. Our churches provide spiritual guidance, financial support, and food to stock the food pantry. Our staff is almost entirely volunteer, with over 200 active volunteers,and comes from our supporting churches. We have three full-time paid staff persons, and nine part-time staff persons. The Board of Directors is comprised of the ministers and representatives from our supporting churches. Because Jesus Christ calls His believers to be in service to the poor and needy among us, F.I.S.H. endeavors to respond to the needs of Walton County residents for food, shelter, utilities, clothing, medical care and transportation in verifiable situations. With the blessings and support of the Walton County Ministerial Association, F.I.S.H. supports those in need through prayer and Spiritual guidance while upholding its own volunteers with love and appreciation.
