Description

Every hour of every day, someone in our community has a need for basic essential services, from food and clothing to assistance with utilities, dental and prescription medication. Family Service Society, Inc. is an organization that helps with these unfortunate types of situations. Founded in 1927 by local business leaders, Family Service Society, Inc. has served the community for more than 87 years, providing immediate emergency relief to residents of Paducah/McCracken County. Family Service Society, Inc. offers assistance with the following: rent due to fire or flood, utilities, prescription medications, dental assistance, food, personal hygiene products, clothing, Christmas food assistance and eyeglasses through the Paducah Lions Club. Family Service Society, Inc. is a United Way partner agency and also seeks fundraising opportunities and donations from the community to help keep our programs and services going and growing.
