Description
Having started out as an Eagle Scout project, our Food Pantry Ministry has grown tremendously over the years and has been a great way for our church to help those in our community. The Food Pantry is completely volunteer run. They hold interviews with families wishing to use this service, organize donations from both within the church and from several grocery stores, stock shelves, and hand out food to families in need. We are open every Tuesday, by appointment only, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. This past year, we have been able to help a record number of families - 90 in one month alone!
