First Presbyterian Church - Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is a ministry that helps meet the constant need of hunger for a number of families in the Manhattan area. This ministry is partnered the Flint Hills Breadbasket, an organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and poverty. Our food pantry provides individuals and families with basic food and nutritional provisions. Beneficiaries receive a variety of foodstuffs such as milk, eggs, pasta, meats, etc. in generous quantities based on their family size. Registration is required to establish need. Food Pantry Hours: Every Friday from 10:00-12:00 AM and 1:00 - 3:30 PM in the Church Narthex. We usually serve between 20-30 families per week, and we are always in need of volunteers to help stock, register participants, and distribute bags of food. We go through hundreds of items of food each week, and are always replenishing and organizing our stockroom.
