Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry is sponsored by the church with a simple mission: "We are here to provide food to people who are hungry." The food pantry has been in operation since October of 2004. Fishes and Loaves receives food from a variety of sources to include private grocers, and Manna Food Bank in Asheville, NC, and community donations. Due to the large number of clients attending the pantry each week and a significant increase the cost to provide adequate and nutritional food for each food box, the Fishes & Loaves Advisory Council has made the decision to limit each client family's attendance to no more than two times per given month. Clients may choose any two Saturdays each month the pantry is open.
