Flint Eastside Mission

Our mission is to demonstrate the light and love of Jesus Christ to the people of the Eastside of Flint. We are compelled by Christ's life and called to act in his behalf in our community. Food Pantry: Servicing on an average of 700 men, women and children per month with a balance diet to supplement their grocery needs. They also receive personal care items and household cleaning materials. They are able to come once during every calendar month. Over 5800 men, women and children served in 2010. Hot Lunch Program: From 100 to 180 individuals gather at the mission 4 days each week, to fellowship and avail themselves to a nutritious hot lunch. For many this will be their only meal for the day. They are from all walks of life. The homeless, the hungry, the lonely, street people, drug addicts and on and on. A meal is also provided after the Sunday Worship Service. Over 20,000 lunches were provided to the people that came to the mission so far this year (2015.)
