Description
The food pantry is a mainstay of Together We Cope and ensures that no client goes hungry. We purchase food from the Greater Chicago Food Depository and continuously receive food donations from generous local businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, and community members. The pantry distributes food to registered clients of Together We Cope from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; and from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursdays. We are closed on Saturdays. Clients are allowed one food pick-up per month. The amount of food given to a family is based on the number of persons in the household. Persons who live outside of our service area are allowed one bag of emergency food and are also provided with the location of food pantries that service their area of residence. To become a registered TWC food pantry client call 708-633-5040.
