Friends Helping Friends Food Pantry

Friends Helping Friends is an organization made up of powerful ministries led by caring individuals who want to do the will of God. Through our Food Pantry Ministry we reach out to the entire town of Fort Fairfield and neighboring towns if needed. Every citizen who is in need of food assistance applies for our service with our allocated form. If the applicant qualifies then we give them a food box once a month. We have a delivery service for our seniors, disabled, and those individuals with out vehicle access. Our delivery day is the second Sunday of each month. For those with vehicles we are open for pick up the Monday after the 2nd Sunday. We also are available for emergencies through out the month, we truly believe that no one should go hungry especially children. We receive/purchase our food from several different sources: Good Shepherd Food Bank, Auburn Maine (90% of our food purchases), Catholic Charities, Local Food Drives, Individual donations, Local grocery stores.
