God Works Family Soup Kitchen @ St. Joe’s Church

God Works was founded in 2005 in an effort to feed the less fortunate in Monroe County on a regular basis. Before God Works began opening meals, the were only two meals per week served in all of the county. Within one year of opening our first meal, we had increased the meals in the city of Monroe to include every night of the week. Now we also serve seven additional meals each week in other parts of the county such as Temperence, Ottawa Lake, Ida, Dundee and Flat Rock. Every one who comes to the meals are served without charge and there are no strings attached. God Works is a non-denominational organization that serves each of our meals in a different church.
