H.E.L.P., Inc.

H.E.L.P., Inc. is primarily a food pantry. This means that we provide, at a minimum, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) provided food to the underprivileged in our community. In addition, H.E.L.P., Inc purchases additional food with donated funds in an attempt to provide a more balanced menu to our clients. In 2009 we distributed over 500,000 pounds of food. H.E.L.P., Inc currently serves more than 3,500 people PER MONTH from our warehouse on the facility grounds. Our warehouse contains a walk-in freezer and walk-in refrigerator, as well as two 42 cubic foot reach-in refrigerators and a 22 cubic foot commercial freezer to hold frozen food that is to be distributed that day. We provide eggs to every family purchased with money from our donors. The monthly cost for the eggs is $2,000.00 per month.
