Description

We use the "Client Choice" method of distribution. Food Panty Hours: The Pantry operates every Friday and Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). Assistance Provided: Each client may visit the Pantry one time per month and, during this visit, is allowed to receive enough food for three meals per day for a total of three days. The Pantry is also able to provide social assistance through its connection with the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo's "Outreach Program." The Pantry maintains a computer record of each client household, including the dates that they obtained food from the Pantry. Requirements to Receive Assistance: All individuals who come for food assistance must reside in Zip Codes 14214 or 14215 and present identification showing their name and current address, such as a driver's license or a current utility bill (gas, electric, etc.). During the calendar year we update family information by requesting identification of other family members. Clients are required to verify the identity of children in the household by presenting each child's social security card.
