It is an unfortunate reality that many people in our community are food insecure. High Street is one of a small group of area churches who work together, with the support of the Good Shepard Food Bank, to try to help families by supplying a once a month allotment of food. High Street provides the space for this volunteer-staffed ministry every Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30. Donations of food, especially high protein, non-perishable items such as peanut butter and tuna fish are always highly desired as are financial donations and the gift of time.
