Description
Our local churches, under the banner of the Holts Summit Ministerial Alliance, provide a food pantry for those in need in southwestern Callaway county and northeastern Cole county. We are grateful to corporate donors like Graves Menu Maker, Walmart, Panera Bread, Aldi's and others, The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri, as well as compassionate individuals who give food and money to the food pantry. The pantry is currently housed at Union Hill and is open in the fellowship hall of the activities building every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30. The one exception to that is the second Thursday of every month when S.E.R.V.E operates a food pantry at Shiloh United Methodist Church in the afternoon. The food pantry is completely staffed by volunteers. Anyone who would like to help is welcome to join us at your next opportunity.
