Description
The Lathrop Food Pantry located in the basement of the Lathrop Christian Church. It is open every Monday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am or by appointment. Anyone may use the food pantry up to one time per month. Lathrop Community Outreach makes every effort to to keep food "staples" on hand, and often stocks novelty items and treats. We also try to stock paper good and personal items such as toilet paper, sanitary napkins, shampoo, and soap. Lathrop Community Outreach is a member of the Second Harvest Community Food Bank, St. Joseph, and they are a source of many of our food pantry items. In addition, we receive food pantry donations from Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, various community food drives, local businesses, and individuals in the community.
