Since September 1987, a delcious hot meal is prepared in the organization's dining facility to feed all the hungry people in the community that will come. Thousands of hungry people have passed through our doors. A week's supply of groceries is distributed to needy families and individuals on an emergency basis. Many families and individuals have benefited from our in-house food bank. LWCSS realizes that handouts are not the answer but often times this gestures is the door opener to positively affecting peoples lives.
