Loaves and Fishes Food Bank is a faith-based 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1985. We give food to the poor and needy in our community. All our monetary donations received go to buy food and pay for rent, utilities, gas, etc. This is an entirely volunteer organization. We receive donated and salvaged food. We receive food from private companies, from individuals and from other agencies who collect and distribute food for the needy. Some of our food is provided by federal USDA programs to provide emergency food assistance to persons needing help to feed themselves or their families.
