Loaves & Fishes began as the brain-child of the Mission Committee of Christ Presbyterian Church in September 2008. At the time, we had a food pantry, but believed the food ministry would be more effective if all the churches of Pooler united in a focused effort. Gateway Community Methodist Church and Morningstar Baptist came on-board. Loaves & Fishes opened its doors in January, 2009. The Food Pantry is open several times a month. Services are available to: Pooler Residents, Member of a Sponsoring Church, Scholarship recipient of the West Chatham YMCA, 165 Issac G. LaRoche Dr., Pooler, GA 31322, Referral by a Pooler physician. The Food Pantry is located at the West Chatham YMCA off of Pooler Parkway, 165 Issac G. LaRoche Dr.Pooler, GA 31322. Go to the Front Desk and ask for "Loaves & Fishes," they will direct you to our location.
