Description
The Sharing Place is a material assistance program providing free food & clothing to families in need. Located in Lawrence Township, on the far East-side of Indianapolis, the Sharing Place is staffed by volunteers recruited from the community and local congregations. The Sharing Place serves individuals and families of all ages in Marion County who need emergency food assistance or fall below the poverty line and meet the income guidelines set by TEFAP. Clients are able to receive food once a month, must present proof of residency every visit, and must reside in one of the following zip codes: 46216, 46218, 46219, 46220, 46226, 46235, 46236, 46250, 46256. Operating Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs - 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm, Tues - 6pm-8pm, 2nd Saturday of the month - 10am-12pm. CLOSED all recognized holidays.
