The Deacons of the First Presbyterian Church of Newton, in an effort to meet the needs of the congregation and the community, proposed to area churches the concept of a soup kitchen to serve the greater Newton area. Manna House opened its doors to the community on November 16, 1987. Since that time Manna House has served the Sussex County community by providing a free daily meal to anyone who enters. Manna House is currently staffed by 26 Congregations. Meal Served: 11:30 - 12:30
