Mobile Pantry for Jones County

Central Baptist Association and System Administrative Services, LLC has partnered with Middle Georgia Community Food Bank to operate a mobile food pantry for Jones County. "The Seekers" Mobile Pantry is a concept developed to facilitate the distribution of food boxes to families with children in the more rural, underserved communities in the operational area of the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank. The target population is families with children as defined by the policies and guidelines for the distribution of food under SNAP (State Nutrition Assistance Program). First Baptist Church of Gray, 134 W. Clinton Street, has approved the use of their North parking lot for the mobile pantry food boxes to be distributed. Once a month, the families who have registered and meet the income for the size of the family will receive a notice when the food will be available for pick up. A simple form is required to sign up, asking for name, address, number of people in household and telephone number. Proof of child or children in the home is required. The following shows monthly income for the family size (house hold size, monthly, weekly income). If your household income is at or below the income listed for the number of people in your household, you are eligible to receive food. Two: $1681, $388, Three: $2116, $488, Four: $2552, $589, Five: $2987, $689, Six: $3423, $790, Seven: $3858, $890, Eight: $4294, $991. For each additional household member, add $434 to the monthly income and $100 to the weekly income.
