Description
The Food Pantry is organized under the Recreation Department at Otto Kaufman Community Center. It is open to all Montgomery Township residents who are experiencing temporary financial hardships and having difficulty making ends meet. The Food Pantry is located on the Senior Center side of the Otto Kaufman Center and operates by appointment only. To make use of the Montgomery Township Food Pantry, an appointment is needed for an initial visit with the Food Pantry Manager. You must bring proof that you live in Montgomery and documentation of your income and expenses. (While there is no income eligibility, there is an income verification process.) When you come in for the appointment, the manager will help you complete some forms, make copies of your documentation and will explain how to use the pantry. The pantry operates by appointment only to protect individuals' privacy. Food and non-food grocery items are provided by a very caring and generous community.
