Mountain View Family Development

Mountain View Family Development is a ministry developed to care for our community's needs. We reach out to the greater Fontana area, as well as most of San Bernardino County. Family Development parters with companies like Wal Mart® and the United States Postal Serviceâ„¢ to deliver food to the community. We engage in a weekly food pantry, monthly "block party" outreaches, and seasonal outreaches. DAILY - Baked Goods: Mountain View partners with Ralphs supermarket to give out bread each day. Families can receive bread, rolls, muffins, cakes, and other baked goods. Stop by our building to receive bread. A donation is requested. WEEKLY - On the first and third Wednesdays of each month, Family Development's food pantry is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. To receive food, we request that you arrive from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM in order to receive numbered tickets for food distribution that day. MONTHLY - On the fourth Saturday of each month, Family Development and Mountain View Community Church host our Block Party outreach. Block Parties have live music, hot lunch, food distribution and children's ministry. We ask that you arrive at 10:00 AM in order to receive numbered tickets for food distribution that day. YEARLY - Mountain View hosts many seasonal outreaches each year: Easter outreaches, Harvest Festivals (Oct. 31), Thanksgiving Turkey give-aways, Christmas fundraisers and more.
