Muslim Society Inc. - Food Pantry

Following the Sunnah of Rasoolullah SAW, some brothers started the initiative of supporting the needy families (mostly refugees community) by providing them basic food items to fulfill their dietary needs. The program was initially started in order to support poor underprivileged families within the South side Chicago area. Alhamdulillah, with the tremendous support of volunteers from the neighborhood, the program has been expanded and extended the support to the needy families throughout the Chicagoland and surrounding states such as Wisconsin. Anyone can participate in our food pantry program. The process is very simple. We have a list of non-perishable items we distribute among the needy families on a monthly basis. We have a proper room for storing these food items. All we ask our visitors to carry this list with you and buy as many items you can from this list. Another way of supporting this program is by donating funds towards the program.
