Newton Food Pantry

If you, or someone you know, does not have enough food every month, the Newton Food Pantry is here to help. We provide people with a 4 to 5 day supply of FREE food once a month. The Pantry has shelves of canned goods (including soup, vegetables, fruit, peanut butter, beans, chili, ravioli, pasta sauce), other non-perishable foods (such as pasta, rice, juice, cereal, Parmalat milk, oil, flour), and toiletries. When available, we also try to provide our clients with meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, tofu and other dairy products. Our clients are able to come to the Pantry once a month and choose the food they need from our shelves based upon limits set by their household size. We do ask that clients fill out a REFERRAL FORM. Clients should fill out this form, AND have it signed by a person who can attest to their need (City Hall, a Social Services official, clergy, school principal), and then return it to the Newton Food Pantry when they come to pick up food.
