The Mission of the North Valley Food Bank is to collect, glean, acquire and process food for distribution to individuals and families in our community who have inadequate means to provide for their own or their family's basic need for food. The primary goal of North Valley Food Bank, Inc. (NVFB) is to provide assistance to individuals and families who are lacking food due to circumstances beyond their control, an emergency or whose income does not stretch to cover all of their basic food expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, the under or seasonally employed, those waiting for SSDI, SSI or Workman's Compensation benefits, those who are temporarily homeless and the elderly.
