Open Arms Care Center

Open Arms Care Center is a faith based non profit organization located in Gilbert Arizona. Our mission is to serve the growing Gilbert community. Open Arms provides supplemental food and clothing to those in need regardless of age, race, religion, or national origin. The Open Arms Care Center began as a ministry of Sun Valley Community Church in January of 2000. Our purpose was to provide food for the needy. In 2001 it became a separate nonprofit organization with a vision to add perishable foods and a clothing closet. We continue to operate with the help of volunteers from other churches and the community. Open Arms is the only agency of its kind in the Town of Gilbert providing food and clothing to the homeless and less fortunate. Currently over 1,500 people per month are being assisted.
