Founded in 1974, the Parish Kitchen has served a full, free meal daily to anyone who comes to the door for nearly 40 years. Located in Downtown Covington, we are supported almost entirely by free will, private donations from churches, organizations, businesses and individuals. In addition to three full-time and two part-time staff, we have 300 volunteers who work on-site and approximately 200 more who help by baking desserts, picking up donations, etc. It is the clearest example we know of people helping people.
