PCTR Food Pantry at The HOPE Center

As part of our partnership with the House of Hope, PCTR runs a Food Pantry that last year provided over 3,000 bags of food to those in need in our local community. We are excited about a new partnership with The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties that has allowed us to stretch our food pantry dollars even further to better provide to the many adults and children that go hungry in our community each day. We are always looking for donations of food and money to continue this important ministry that impacts the lives of so many. In particular, our partnership with the FoodBank allows us to purchase food at a fraction of the cost that items can be purchased from a grocery store. Items that are in constant need are: Vegetables, Cereal, Milk, Soup, Chili, Stew, Canned Fruit, Hash, Luncheon Meat, Peanut Butter, and Potatoes (canned or dried); Toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, personal care products, and cleaning supplies. Food donations can be dropped off at the church or The HOPE Center. Checks can be made out to "PCTR" with "Food Pantry" in the Memo and dropped off or mailed to the church.
