Perham Community Food Shelf

The Perham Community Food Shelf, Inc.is a nonprofit agency that provides food to families and individuals who need an occasional helping hand. We provide good quality food that has been either donated, purchased from North Country Food Bank or locally. If you reside in the Perham Dent School district and are in need of food assistance you can come to the Food Shelf once per month. The Food Shelf is open each Tuesday from 8:00 AM - 12 Noon. However, on the first Tuesday of each month we will also be open in the afternoon 3:00 PM - 5:00 P.M. If assistance is needed outside of these times you can call 346-6181, leave a voice message with your name and telephone number, and someone will contact you to make arrangements for an emergency box. The Food Shelf will not open on Tuesday's if the Perham School is closed due inclement weather AND the week between Christmas and New Years During your first visit you will be asked to fill out two forms, show a proof of residency e.g. electric bill, telephone bill etc.
