Perry Hall United Methodist Church Food Pantry

Perry Hall UMC has operated an emergency Food Pantry since 1982. We will provide meals for 3 days, 3 meals each day, the amount of food determined by the number in the family. Our shelves are kept furnished with non-perishable, nutritious foods through the warm generosity of the members of PHUMC, and through the government program of sharing surplus foods. A typical grocery order will include spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, soups, pork and beans, several vegetables, several fruits, stew or canned chicken, tuna fish, canned salmon, peanut butter, dry cereal, and perhaps pancake mix and syrup. We always give toilet paper, since that commodity is not covered by food stamps. The food pantry is on the ground floor next to the back door of the church.
