Providence Ministries - Kate’s Kitchen

Kate's Kitchen served a noontime meal to anyone no questions asked 365 days a year. Kate's also offers a brown bag supper on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm. Kate's Kitchen served its first lunchtime meal in 1980. Since that day, one noon-time meal daily has been served to anyone in need with a "no-questions asked" policy. The Kitchen is opened 365 days/yr. and provides approx. 150 meals per day. Since its inception, Kate's Kitchen has provided to its neighbors over one million meals. The Kitchen depends heavily on volunteers to assure the smooth running of the kitchen. We are grateful to the many church groups, farmers, supermarkets, restaurants, civic organizations, and the general public for continually volunteering or donating food to this program.
