The Triad is the second hungriest region in the United States. The Triad is also smack dab in the middle of the Bible Belt. To us, those two ideas should be exclusive. To us, the Church needs to step up and feed. Jesus said, "I was hungry, and you didn't feed me when you failed to feed the least of these." Every Saturday, the Renaissance Road Food Bank is open to anyone who needs food. Doors open by 9:45 and registration ends at 10:30 with food distribution beginning at 11:00am. These times coincide with our Saturday morning worship experience that begins at 10:00, which all are invited to attend. Attendance in worship is by no means required to utilize the Renaissance Road Food Bank services. All that is required to receive food is a valid driver's license or state issued ID.
