Description
In our mission to serve the needs of residents of Camden County, age 60 and older, SCUCS provides emergency aid to those in need of medical appliances or lacking basic necessities. SCUCS retains a fully stocked food shelf at all times for Camden County seniors 60+ years of age in need of emergency food. Once an individual is identified as being in need of assistance, they may pick up two prepared food bags of non-perishable each month. Clients without the means to pick up their food may be eligible to have their food delivered to their home if a volunteer is available in their area. Items for this program are donated by schools, churches and companies that want to help end hunger in their communities. Pick up times are 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursday (seniors only).
