Description

The Food Pantry in Snow Hill has operated out of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, previously known as "Ebenezer Hunger Action," has operated for over 30 years. It distributes food to those in need the second Friday of every month as well as provides emergency food service upon request. It was established as an ecumenical food pantry, which means that it is supported by local churches in the area. Due to its growth, the pantry expanded its services and moved to 241 South Washington Street in Snow Hill. To facilitate this change a new organization was founded called Snow Hill Ecumenical Food Pantry. Rosalie Mason, Tommy Mason, Stephanie Clayville and Charlie Dorman are founders of the new pantry.
