Description

The South County Food Pantry serves approximately 150-200 people each month in southern Washington County, Maryland, including Boonsboro, Keedysville, Pleasant Valley, Sandy Hook, Sharpsburg and part of Greenbrier. The Pantry is open every Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 and is based at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 64 S. Main Street in Boonsboro. Families in need of food may visit the pantry once a month. We operate on a very limited budget, most of which comes from private sources, and gratefully welcome donations of canned goods such as soup, vegetables, fruits, meats, and other non-perishable foods such as cereal, boxed pasta, instant mashed potatoes, bagged snacks, etc.
