Description
St. Martha's Food Pantry was established in 1982 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish. It's name was changed after the merger of St. Barnabas Church and Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in 2011. Our ministry is to help families in need who are parishioners of St. Martha Parish or who reside within the Depew 14043 zip code. Our purpose is not to sustain each family's food budget, but to help supplement. Volunteers man the pantry, working short scheduled hours. While the pantry is our main focus, the Giving Tree and Easter Basket Collection are also projects that we oversee. Being in need can be a humbling experience. We try to preserve the dignity of our families and help the best we can. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, September through May.
