Description
The St. Mary Food Pantry opened its doors more than ten years ago, when we began to realize the great need for a means to provide food for the hungry in downtown Evansville. We began by assisting a few families each month. Since then, the Food Pantry has grown tremendously, now assisting more than 250 households per month. Besides filling food orders for those clients we serve, we also open the door and greet with a friendly face all those who come to the Ministry Center. The Food Pantry is open Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am to Noon and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Volunteers work one morning or afternoon shift a week, every other week, once a month or whatever works with their schedule.
