Description

The Food Bank of Nevada County, CA is a non-profit food assistance agency providing food distribution and nutrition education to hungry individuals and families. We obtain and provide donated, surplus, and purchased food to people in need in Nevada County. We distributed nutritious food to low-income individuals and families in Nevada County. We provide food efficiently through our Food Bank Programs and by collaborating with a network of partner agencies. We rely on the generous support of our community volunteers. Our volunteers contributed nearly 5,000 hours of service per year. We serve an average of 4,250 individuals each month, and the numbers are still rising. The people we serve are low-income individuals, low-income families with children, and seniors.
