Description

The Vernon Township Food Pantry provides nutritionally balanced food to township individuals and families who are in need of assistance. The food pantry is a community project supervised by the Township. Donations of food items are provided by the community. Along with donations of non perishable food items, gift certificates to local grocery stores and cash donations are accepted. Vernon Township Food Pantry operates during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for food distribution and accepts donations Monday through Friday 9:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. Individuals and families that show a need and live within the township boundaries are eligible to use the food pantry. The food pantry is open the first Wednesday of each month between 9:00 am and 1:00pm. Food is also available throughout the month to those who apply for township assistance.
