We Care Food Pantry

It is our honor and good pleasure to help those who are in need with extra food for the month. The goal of WE CARE Food Pantry is to feed those who are hungry in Clarke County and the surrounding areas. Maybe you are one of those who have lost your job, and you don't know how you are going to feed your family. You could be a single mother, or dad, who is working but just don't have quite enough to feed your children. Are you disabled and can't live off of what you receive in SSI or other government programs? Maybe you are a senior citizen who just doesn't have enough. This program is designed to help you if you have need for food, in a non-hassle, respectful atmosphere, to apply for assistance. In other words you don't have to jump through bells and whistles to qualify; just a few simple questions and that's it. We understand that it is hard for most people to ask for assistance. Be assured that WE CARE about you and your needs. Only if you have been there and experienced the need for food can you have the compassion it takes to understand the processes. WE CARE does understand how hard it is for you to ask for assistance. EVERYONE needs help at times. Let WE CARE help you! All you need to do is come by 500 North Jackson Avenue, (up from the ballfields ) to sign up for assistance. We have partnered with Living Word Church to use their facility to distribute foods. Why not pray how God would have you to help our community. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!We are an outreach ministry of TRUE WORD MINISTRIES, INC., which is a 501 (c) (3) Non PROFIT Organization which has been in existence since 1988, helping people and communities. If you need assistance for food, check out the Sign Up Food Day each month. You must bring a picture id and proof of income. It is a simple process and you will be treated with a genuine smile and a whole lot of love.
