Description
The purpose of the Corporation is that which is stated in the Articles of Incorporation filed with the State of California, July 26, 1983, and as amended. The Corporation is organized under the Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes and not for privileged gain of any person. The organization serves YUBA and SUTTER Counties. Funding is provided by donations, fundraising functions, a thrift shop, charity sales (serving over 35 local charities), etc., which all contribute to expenses, mortgage, office, warehouse, utilities, transportation, etc.
